I have a Williams Star Trek TNG pinball that keeps frying the plug on the main driver board that runs the general illumination for the back-board. I was thinking of replacing the lights on the back-board with LED's. Would this draw less power and therefor save my board from burning?? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes that would help a lote but also when you replace the burnt Plug Star Trek TNG Pinball did you replace the headders/Pins. Carbon build up on the old header/pins causes the new conector/plug not to make good conection with the Pins/headers thus burning up the plug again. You can get the parts at mouser.com. replace the lights with led's and replace the plug and pins and you should have no more problems.
